• COVID-19 Coverage: The plan now includes coverage for COVID-19 related issues, ensuring you’re protected in case of diagnosis during your trip. This is applicable to fully vaccinated travelers.
• Medical Expenses: Covers medical expenses up to RM350,000, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation up to RM10,00,000, and even follow-up treatment up to RM50,000. Alternative medicine is covered up to a sub-limit of RM500.
• Travel Inconvenience: Provides benefits for trip cancellation, curtailment, luggage delay, missed departures, and more.
• Personal Accident Benefits: Includes death and permanent disablement coverage due to accidents up to RM500,000. Funeral expenses are also covered up to RM10,000.

Enhance your coverage with optional riders
Allianz Travel Care provides coverage for additional sports activities if an additional premium is paid. The specific activities covered depend on whether you purchase optional rider 1 or optional rider 2.
Optional Rider 1 (Sports Activity)
Water Sports Rafting, canoeing, kayaking (involving white water class 4 and below), rowing, yachting, parasailing, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, scuba diving, and underwater activities using artificial breathing apparatus (up to 50 meters water depth)5….
Winter Sports Ice skating, snowboarding, skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling6….
Other Sports Mountaineering (not involving ropes or other climbing equipment) up to 3,500 metres or the base camp, whichever is lower, sky diving, hang gliding, bungee jumping, zorb ball riding, sphereing, orbing, hot air balloon and all-terrain vehicle (ATV)
Note that any mountaineering or climbing activities in Nepal are excluded under this optional rider
Optional Rider 2 (High Altitude Mountaineering)
If a loss occurs while mountaineering (not involving the use of ropes or other climbing equipment) up to 5,500 m or the base camp, whichever is lower, compensation will be provided, provided that the maximum duration of the mountaineering is not more than 30 days.
Note that any mountaineering or climbing activities in Nepal are excluded under this optional rider.
To be eligible for compensation under optional rider 2, you must be accompanied by a guide certified by local authorities when undertaking the mountaineering activity.
The policy will not pay if reasonable care is not exercised, or safety requirements are not followed when undertaking the relevant sports activities.
• Who is Eligible: Malaysian citizens, permanent residents, valid work permit holders, and student pass holders are eligible. Age limits apply for different plans.
